Questions clients ask before hiring SolwareX
No. You tell us what your software should do, and we advise on how to build it, in plain language. Already using a payment provider, a login system or your own server, or have other wishes? We take them into account. You only make technical choices if you want to.
Only if you want to. The intake works just as well by e-mail or chat: the same questions, the same honest advice and the same fixed quote.
Yes. We can arrange the hosting and keep your website or app updated, backed up and online for a fixed monthly fee. You can also take everything over yourself, fully documented, and you can switch later.
SolwareX takes on a limited number of projects and runs its own products next to client work. During the intake we are honest about start dates. Once we agree on a planning, it holds.
Everything we deliver is built to survive without us: documented, built on widely used tools, with the accounts in your name. Our own products run for weeks without anyone touching them, and client work gets the same treatment.
You do, after the final payment, including the documentation. For licensed products sold through our own stores, standard license terms apply instead.
No. Bugs in work we delivered are always fixed at no charge, with or without Hosting & Maintenance. That is part of the deal, not a warranty that runs out. New features and bigger changes are quoted separately.
You receive a proper invoice from a registered Dutch business (KVK 93940254, VAT NL005053176B36). Fixed-scope projects are paid in one go before the work starts, or in monthly instalments if that suits you better. Hosting & Maintenance is a fixed monthly fee, and for ongoing development an hourly rate can be agreed instead. Reverse-charge VAT is possible for EU business clients.
