Achmea Bank internal tooling

Problem

At Achmea Bank, the process for designing authorizations consisted of manual steps spread across multiple teams. At that scale, a routine internal process becomes slow and error-prone, and every handoff is a chance for details to drift.

What I built

An internal web application that brought the authorization design process into one place:

• A full-stack application with a RESTful API at its core
• Built for scale and maintainability under the bank's engineering and security standards
• Requirements refined continuously with cross-functional teams
• Delivered with documentation so internal teams could keep building on it

The specifics stay under NDA, as they should at a bank.

Outcome

The application streamlined the internal authorization workflow and was handed over documented. For client work the relevant part is the discipline it trained: enterprise review culture, security requirements and multi-team alignment, applied since to every project I take on alone.
